Roman Reigns, Big E Among WWE Draft 2021 First Round Picks

The WWE draft is officially underway.

On October 1, 2021, the WWE held a draft that would shake up the rosters of both Raw and SmackDown. Earlier in the day, it was announced that the picks would take effect beginning on October 22, the day after the Crown Jewel event.

Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce came out and made the picks on behalf of the brands.

The first pick went to SmackDown and they opted to keep their Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. Raw countered suit, drafting WWE Champion Big E. Roman was also SmackDown's #1 pick in last years draft.

With their next pick in the first round, SmackDown selected the reigning Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. The Queen just successfully defender her title versus Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules. Raw ended the opening round by picking Bianca Belair. The EST is set to challenge for the SmackDown Women's Title in a triple threat match versus Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch at Crown Jewel.
