Roman Reigns Gets Excited Being In The Ring With Athletes Like Brock Lesnar

Roman Reigns expects Wrestlemania to be physical for him.

At Wrestlemania 34, Roman Reigns will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship. They have had a few matches together over the past years but their last scheduled singles match was at Wrestlemania 31 when Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to turn the match into a triple threat. In an interview with NBC Sports, Reigns said it is exciting every time he gets in the ring with Lesnar or wrestlers like him.

"Yeah man, the cool thing about that is, and it may sound simple, but it’s just Brock. It’s just awesome to be in the ring with him. He’s not only a multi-time WWE champion, but what he did in his collegiate days all the way up to the UFC. He’s just an impressive athlete and when you’re dealing with someone like that, you can’t help but to get excited to have the opportunity to compete with him," said Reigns.

The two wrestlers have been very physical on the last couple episodes of Raw and Roman Reigns said that will continue at Wrestlemania 34.

"I’m looking forward to it. Is it going to be fun? I don’t know. It’s going to be a different type of fun, especially if you’re into your neck and back hurting, but that’s what we do, that’s what we signed up for and that’s the cool part about being in there with Brock. It’s just kinda simple, but you better bring your physical boots today," said Reigns.

As for the match on Sunday, Reigns said to expect some of the same elements as their last match at Wrestlemania 31 but he also said there will be some surprises because of the "different atmosphere."
