Roman Reigns On A Possible Shield Reunion: No

The Shield had their Final Chapter in April 2019, having one last match as a trio before Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley) departed the company.

Roman Reigns has become the tribal chief, carrying the WWE Universal Championship on his shoulder. Seth Rollins has found his own success as The Messiah.

However, given the fond memories of The Shield during their dominant run in WWE, fans wonder if a reunion would be possible.

"No," Reigns said when asked on Cheap Heat about a potential Shield reunion. "I have a lot of respect for what we did. A lot of that time was really pivotal for me to learn and gain experience and be around other performers and see their process and how they attack and think about things, but where I'm at now, it's a one-man show. I have the family dynamic with [The Usos], but I call the shots. It's my thumb on this pole and I don't think I could share it anymore."

While Reigns may not work alongside Rollins in the near future, he would have no problem having a match with him.

"Seth is a special performer, especially in-ring. It can be a cold situation, but you give us a crowd and give us a ring, we'll make something special happen. Put us in a scenario like WrestleMania or SummerSlam, that chemistry and that ambition for greatness between the both of us will always be there and that's what will make it special," he said.

Reigns currently has his plate full as he'll be facing Edge at Money in the Bank.

Elsewhere during the interview, Reigns admitted he has respect for John Cena. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
