Roman Reigns comments on his Hell in a Cell victory.

At WWE Hell in a Cell on Sunday, Roman Reigns stood victorious alongside Daniel Bryan in their tornado tag team match against Luke Harper & Erick Rowan. While the match featured plenty of highlights, including a spear by Roman through the announce table, the biggest highlight may have come after the match when Roman and Bryan embraced for a hug.

"It was just really cool as a memory for me because when The Shield came in so many years ago, we came in, and we were fighting Team Hell No [Daniel Bryan & Kane] a good bit," Roman said backstage following the match. "So to be able to see the hug situation come back, it was very funny and reminded me of how quickly time flies. All the way through this rivalry with Erick Rowan, with him trying to kill me with forklifts and burying me under road cases, all the way until now to get this redemption to close this story of my life, it felt good to be out there with someone at the caliber of Daniel Bryan, for him to step up and help me out speaks about his character. The brother just wanted a hug at the end."

While Roman and Bryan stood tall at the end of the match, fans may have noticed that Roman was walking with a bit of a limp as he exited the ring.

Roman admitted, "I tweaked [my knee] out there, but don't worry, I'm gonna Wolverine that thing tonight and I'll be ready for SmackDown on Friday."

Fightful will keep fans updated if more information comes out on Roman's knee.
