Roman Reigns is set to appear on the Fox New Year's Eve special in some capacity.
Deadline reports the New Year's Eve on Fox, which will be hosted by Steve Harvey, will "feature a WWE match with Roman Reigns." It is unclear if Roman will be making a live appearance or if a taped match will air.
Maria Menounos and Rob Gronkowski will co-host the special. Menounos was recently training with Sonya Deville and WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac at Rikishi's ring for what she called a "secret project." Sonya mentioned that Menounos is "going to do great" in the video.
Menounos has had multiple matches in WWE, including a tag team bout at WrestleMania 28.
Gronkowski's name has also been tied to WWE, with his friend Mojo Rawley heavily pushing the idea of Gronkowski working a WWE match.
New Year’s Eve on Fox begins at 8 p.m. ET on Dec. 31.
