Ronda Rousey has given birth to a baby girl.
The former UFC and WWE Champion has given birth for the first time to a baby girl as she has announced on Instagram. The photo is captioned “La’akea Makalapuaokalanipō Browne,” a name paying homage to Travis Browne’s Hawaiian roots.
Ronda, who is also a stepmother to Travis’ other children, has not been seen in WWE since losing in the main event of WrestleMania 35. When she took her hiatus from WWE, it was known that she wanted to start a family. She and Browne announced in June that the baby would be a girl via a Pokemon-inspired gender reveal.
Becky Lynch, who defeated Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania 35, also took a hiatus to give birth to a baby girl. Now, Becky is back and currently holds the SmackDown Women's Championship.
As it relates to professional wrestling, most recently, Ronda Rousey praised the all-women NWA event EmPowerrr, which took place at the end of August 2020.
