Ronda Rousey believes she has the solve for tension filled times.

In 2025, times are tense around the world, and for some people, mixed martial arts and fighting can be a way to blow off some steam. For Rousey, she is a former martial artist, but believes that people should be allowed something a little different to cope, and to keep people from getting too angry with each other.

While speaking to Fox News Saturday Night, Ronda Rousey was asked if people should wrestle to blow off some steam, with Rousey countering that everyone should be allowed to slap one person a year, noting that you wouldn’t really hurt anyone that bad.’

“I think everyone should be allowed one slap a year. One open-hand slap. You can slap anybody, but you can only slap them once, and you don’t know if anyone has their slap left. You know what I mean? So you would kind of, like, behave a little differently. You’re not really going to hurt anyone that bad. You just get one. You can’t just walk around slapping people all day, but you never know, you know, because if you’re talking to somebody and you’re being rude, you never know.”

Elsewhere in a recent interview, Rousey reacted to a Power Slap knockout. You can read more about that here.
