Rusev Pledges $20,000 To WWE Employees Currently Out Of Work

Rusev is giving back to WWE employees who might be missing out on a paycheck during these times.

Rusev took to social media to announce that he will be pledging $20,000 to his extended family in WWE who are sitting at home without an income. The coronavirus pandemic has shut down the large scale WWE operation, reducing shows to "essential personnel" only.

WWE has moved all events to the Performance Center with no live audience since the Mar. 13 episode of WWE SmackDown. WWE has begun, and will continue, to tape weeks of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT leading up to and after WrestleMania 36. WWE will also tape matches for WrestleMania 36 across multiple locations this week.

Rusev has not been on television since February and is not scheduled for a match at WrestleMania 36.
