Ryan Nemeth calls Leon Slater the ideal prototype for a pro wrestler.
Over the past year, Leon Slater has had a rise as one of the most popular young stars in the world of professional wrestling with TNA. In recent months, he has begun teaming with Je’Von Evans in NXT as part of TNA and NXT’s partnership. For Nemeth, Slater serves as the ideal prototype of a professional wrestler.
While speaking to WRESTHINGS for a new interview, Ryan Nemeth was asked about what advice he would give wrestlers who are trying to break into the industry.
“Okay, here’s something really important. A lot of the world of sports, like college sports or pro sports, is merit-based. So if you can literally kick a ball better, you get the spot. You advance based on those things. In pro wrestling, there’s so many boxes to check. I was just thinking about Leon Slater, for example. Every box, athleticism, build, promo, abilities, charisma, height. He’s checking all of them. So someone like that is like the ideal prototype for a pro wrestler. An amazing wrestler on the TNA roster, and he’s the future of wrestling.”
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Nemeth spoke about possibly teaming with his brother Nic in WWE. You can read more about that here.
