Sadie Gibbs Suffered Leg Injury At Sendai Girls Event, Set For MRI

Sadie Gibbs suffered an unfortunate leg injury at Sendai Girls on August 24th.
Before her match began, Gibbs was jumping down off the middle turnbuckle and her leg buckled. Gibbs was attended to be an official and the match was called off.
Gibbs wrote on social media, “During my entrance I jumped down from the corner and my leg buckled. I’m absolutely gutted. I’ve worked so hard to be back at this point with momentum in my career again. And I just didn’t want to accept this set back. 😔❤️🩹MRI is what’s next. And i go from there….”

Gibbs has been active in Japan and the UK since returning to the ring in February 2024. She was signed to AEW, but departed the company during the pandemic as she could not travel due to COVID restrictions.
She announced her retirement in 2021, but returned in 2024.
