El Rubio de las Chicas Speaks on WWE-AAA.
WWE announced during WrestleMania weekend that they had acquired Lucha Libre AAA. Since that purchase, WWE held the collaborative event "Worlds Collide" on 6/7 to much acclaim, SmackDown's Los Garza (Angel Garza & Berto) have won the AAA Tag Titles, and Mr. Iguana took WWE by storm with his appearances in the company. And now, one of the top rudos in the most recent years in AAA has spoken on this.
When asked about his opinion on the collaboration while speaking with Contralona, Sam Adonis detailed that he was hopeful about the collaboration between AAA & WWE and said he hoped to be involved in the company. He stated the following:
“I have a lot of hope for it. I have a very famous brother in WWE (Corey Graves), and I was looking for this position for a long time. I know my best days are ahead of me, and I’ve had a wonderful career these past 17 years, and I have a lot more to do. I’ve had success in every country I have wrestled in, and I think my time in the United States could be the prime of my career.”
Despite losing his hair to Psycho Clown in a four-way also against RUSH & LA Park, Adonis has had a very successful career in AAA, winning the AAA Trios Titles, winning the 2023 edition of the Rey de Reyes Tournament, being a semi-finalist of the 2024 Rey de Reyes Tourney, and was part of Team USA alongside Johnny TV & Christopher Daniels in the finals of the 2023 Men's Lucha Libre World Cup.
