Sami Callihan Feels That 2018 Has Been The Best Year Of His Wrestling Career

Callihan has had an eventful 2018.

The self-proclaimed "Draw" Sami Callihan has been in many of headlines in 2018 whether it was positive or negative. He has been established on a number of programs including IMPACT Wrestling where he is currently feuding with IMPACT X Division Champion Brian Cage. Sami capped off season four of Lucha Underground as one-third of the Lucha Underground Trios Champions and he also competes regularly for MLW. Earlier this year Callihan was the topic of conversation after an IMPACT taping where he swung a baseball bat and the bat ricocheted off a chair and hit Eddie Edwards directly in the eye.

With all of the positive and negative attention, Callihan feels that 2018 has been the best of his professional career and he explained why when he joined Dave LaGreca and WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry on Busted Open Radio.

“One-hundred percent. I feel like, I may have had technically some better matches on other time periods but I say right now is the time of me making a lot more money than I’ve ever made in my career and me launching other companies to new heights of my career." He continued, "I’m on three national television shows right now; I’m on IMPACT Wrestling, I’m on Lucha Underground, I’m on MLW on television every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Who else in professional wrestling can really say that? Right now or practically ever? People can hate on me all they want but the proof is in the pudding.”
