Sami Zayn Attacks Kevin Owens, Billie Kay Eyeing Role As Carmella's New Sommelier | SD Fight Size

Here is your post-SmackDown fight size update for Friday, March 19, 2021.

- Carmella was asked backstage what traits she's looking for in her new sommelier. As she listed them off, Billie Kay could be seen in the background holding her resume. After Carmella walked away she approached Alyse and came up with the hashtag, #KayForSommelier.

- Sasha Banks defended her SmackDown Women's Championship versus Nia Jax on SmackDown. Banks and Bianca Belair were seen arguing backstage before the match, with Belair asking why The Boss agreed to put her title on the line. Banks would eventually emerge victorious, thanks to Shayna Baszler who inadvertently kicked Nia during an interference attempt.

- Edge was interviewed backstage by Kayla Braxton and praised Jey Uso as one of the generation's top performers. According to the Rated-R Superstar, however, "As long as he follows Roman Reigns' shadow, Jey Uso is going to keep running into trouble. Tonight... I'm that trouble."

- After making fun of Cesaro and calling him an abject failure, Seth Rollins was confronted by Shinsuke Nakamura. He proceeded to lay out The Messiah with a Kinshasa. It was later announced that they will have a match at Fastlane.

- With the Dirty Dawgs sitting at ringside, Dominik and Rey Mysterio picked up a win over the Street Profits. After their match, Alpha Academy came out and an impromptu match between them and the Mysterio's was made. Otis and Gable would emerge victoriously from that bout.

- Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns exchanged words ahead of their match at Fastlane. Bryan told Reigns that he is not just going to make him tap out, but that he is going to break him.

- After losing to King Corbin, Sami Zayn was told by Kevin Owens that he saw no conspiracy in what just happened. Sometimes you lose and you just need to move on. Zayn didn't take kindly to this, attacking Owens with a Helluva Kick while he wasn't looking.

- Big E and Apollo Crews couldn't wait until Sunday to get their hands on each other, abandoning their interview and brawling backstage.

- Natalya and Tamina interfered in Bianca Belair and Shayna Baszler's match. The two have been looking for a Tag Team Title opportunity in recent weeks.

- After defeating Jey Uso to become the special ringside enforcer for the Universal Championship match at Fastlane, Edge was laid out by a Roman Reigns spear. Daniel Bryan was then attacked by Uso and thrown into the ring where he was also speared.
