Sami Zayn has earned praise from fans and peers for his work in 2022 where he's been involved in a feud with Johnny Knoxville that garnered attention from non-wrestling media and added a new dynamic to the Bloodline.
While Sami has earned high marks from anyone and everyone in wrestling, who in wrestling does he see as a standout performer that he'd like to work with?
"I do see some guys out there, MJF pops to mind, I think he's very talented," Zayn told Peter Rosenberg. "There is one, not like in a long-term storytelling type thing, which where my mind goes a lot. There's a kid in AEW, Dante Martin, he's a really great high-flier. It reminds me of the matches I would have on the Independents with guys who are really good high-fliers. Strictly based on in-ring, if we were working an Indie in front of 300 people. A lot of guys...it's guys that I've worked with before that I just missed and I would love to work with again. Kenny Omega is an example. I know I'm saying a lot of AEW guys here. I haven't seen him in 10 years, which is insane. The last time I saw him was December 2012. I miss him and miss working him. He was a lot like me, very detail oriented."
Zayn noted the importance of the small details.
MJF saw Sami's praise and called him the salt of the earth.
