Sami Zayn Set For WWE SmackDown Appearance

Wade Barrett announced Sami Zayn’s appearance.

The 2026 NXT Great American Bash Premium Live Event took place on June 28th and aired on The CW Network.

During the opening match of the show, commentators Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett brought up Sami Zayn capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions.

Barrett, who calls the action of SmackDown alongside Joe Tessitore, stated that he cannot wait to hear what Zayn has to say on the 7/3 SmackDown.

The July 7th episode of SmackDown is going to be taped on June 29th while WWE is in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
