Santino Marella says that appearing at WWE Clash In Italy would be a ‘full circle moment’ in his professional wrestling career.

The former WWE superstar and current TNA authority figure would make his in ring debut for WWE in Milan, Italy in 2007, where he was hand picked from the crowd to take on Umaga with the WWE Intercontinental Championship on line. After being picked out of the crowd, the match would be made NO DQ, with Bobby Lashley coming to Santino’s aid in order to help him win the championship in his debut match.

In a new social media post on Sunday, Santino Marella would respond to a tweet from a fan wanting to see him appear at the WWE Clash In Paris Premium Live Event on May 31st. Santino would note that appearing at the show later this month would be a ‘full circle moment for sure.’

“It would be a full circle moment for sure.”

As mentioned, Marella is not currently a member of the WWE roster, but does feature as an authority figure on TNA programming, opening up the door for a possible appearance at the show later this month, should WWE want to include Santino at the event.

Last month, Santino revealed that he had undergone surgery to fix an issue related to sleep apnea. You can read more about that here.
