Santos Escobar: Dominik Mysterio Is Not In Legado Del Fantasma, But We Both Hate Rey Mysterio

Santos Escobar explains why Dominik Mysterio's interference was justified.

On the March 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, Santos Escobar faced Rey Mysterio in a match where the LWO and Legado del Fantasma were barred from ringside. In the closing moments of the bout, Dominik Mysterio interfered and helped Escobar clinch the win.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Santos Escobar commented on his win.

"The stipulation was no LDF, and no LWO. Last time I checked, ‘Dirty Dom’ is Judgment Day. He’s not Legado Del Fantasma, he’s not LWO. But the one thing we have in common is that we both hate Rey Mysterio," Escobar said.

When asked whether Dominik's interference cheapened the win, Escobar let Dominik answer the question. Dominik stated that a win was a win, and the Judgment Day ran WWE.

"First of all, Byron, a win’s a win. It doesn’t matter how it comes. A win is a win. The Judgment Day runs all. Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown, it doesn’t matter. So like I said, a win is a win," Dominik Mysterio said.

Escobar also took to social media to state that he finished his story by defeating Rey Mysterio.
