Saquon Shugars Appears In Background Of DarkState Promo On WWE NXT

After DarkState (Saquon Shugars & Dion Lennox) lost an NXT Tag Team Title match on the May 19th episode of WWE NXT on The CW, fellow DarkState members Cutler James and Osiris Griffin attacked Shugars because he took the pinfall. Lennox proceeded to join in on the attack.

With Shugars out of the group, Lennox, Griffin, and James addressed their attack on Shugars on the 5/26 NXT. They mentioned that Shugars was the odd man out because he was just an independent wrestler while the rest of the group were Division I athletes.

The new-look DarkState had the final segment on the show, and it came after they attacked Tavion Heights and NXT North American Champion Myles Borne.

After delivering their statement, they exited the camera’s view, and in the background watching them from atop a production truck was Saquon Shugars.
