Tony D’Angelo vs. Kam Hendrix For NXT Championship, WWE Men’s Speed Title Match, More Set For 6/2 NXT
Kam Hendrix is getting his shot at the NXT Title, and more locked in for the show.
Coming off the heels of the May 26th WWE NXT on The CW, the lineup was pushed out for the June 2nd episode. There are going to be two title matches, one of which will see Tony D’Angelo defending the NXT Championship.
Lexis King will be defending the WWE Men’s Speed Title against Romeo Moreno. The Speed number one contender’s tournament unfolded on the 5/26 show, and one of the bouts saw Sean Legacy versus Dorian Van Dux, which went to a time limit draw. It was then decided that the other tournament match would be the final, and Moreno defeated SmackDown’s Nathan Frazer to secure the title opportunity.
Here is the lineup for the 6/2 show:
- NXT Championship: Tony D’Angelo (c) vs. Kam Hendrix
- Tate Wilder vs. Jackson Drake (w/ Myka Lockwood, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes)
- WWE Men’s Speed Championship: Lexis King (c) vs. Romeo Moreno
- Lizzy Rain vs. ZARIA
- Myles Borne & Tavion Heights vs. DarkState
