Sasha Banks Says Dropping "Bitch" In Her Promo Wasn't Planned: "You Just Gotta Apologize Later"

The Boss discusses her work on the microphone.

Appearing on Edge & Christian's Pod of Awesomeness, Sasha Banks discussed her work on the microphone. While Banks oozes confidence once she walks onto the stage and is heralded as one of the best once the bell rings, she admits that promos are not her biggest strength, but she's starting to get more comfortable.

Konosuke Takeshita: I'm Craving Your Belt, MOX

"Promos haven't been my strong suit," stated Banks. "But the more mature I get and the more I think about what I say...I feel like now as a performer I'm not scared to speak up when I'm given a promo. That's the beautiful thing with WWE and with them growing, if you get handed something and you have questions about it, I'm not scared to go to Vince (McMahon) and ask to change it to make it into my own words. For the past two weeks I've taken liberty with that. The week before, I wasn't supposed to say the B word, but it came out and it added to that promo as well. You just gotta apologize later. If you're doing the best you can to add to the story, I think it's okay to do those things."

Banks is scheduled to face Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Title this Sunday at WWE Royal Rumble. Tonight on Raw she will team with Bayley against Rousey and Natalya.

In the same interview, Banks discussed her 2018 feud and team with Bayley. You can view her comments here.
