The diversity within WWE's Performance Center ranges from wrestlers who hail from China, India, Australia and various locations around the world. Saurav has not been featured on NXT TV but is aiming to have that opportunity unfold in the near future.

As of now, Saurav is teaming with fellow NXT talent Rinku Singh at NXT house shows. Gurjar spoke with Sportskeeda for an interview and told the site about some of the face paint and attire that he and Singh wear to the ring to pay homage to their home country:

"We tried many things but settled on the tika (a mark on the forehead) because that's unique to India. We don't want people to ask where we're from. They should know we're Indian from the start." He explained.

Saurav added that the 6'4 big man Jeet Rama has been like a big brother to him and both he and Rinku respect Jeet a lot and consider him family.

"Jeet Rama is like an elder brother to me." Saurav shared. "He has a background in Kushti and has been in the Performance Center for 3 years now. Rinku and I respect him a lot and consider him to be one of our family members. We call him bhaisaab [brother]."

WWE held tryouts in India this month and Saurav expressed that he is confident that everyone who will be attending the tryouts is a skilled and primed athlete.

"I know that everyone who'll be attending the tryouts in March is a physically gifted and skilled athlete. But I want to tell them to be strong mentally as well." He added. "Matt Bloom, who's been there and done it all, will push you to the limit. So mental strength is very important."
