WWE Holding Tryouts In India In March 2019

WWE continuing to expand.

World Wrestling Entertainment has a plan in effect to expand their company into different branches of world and produce and come across future WWE stars. The company recently held tryouts in Germany and Chile and in January the next class of NXT recruits will be unveiled. It was reported just yesterday that Australian-based wrestler Jonah Rock is expected to start with WWE in January and come March of 2019, WWE will be coming to India to host the first-ever talent tryout in the country.

Multiple India news outlets have been reporting the news that today the sports-entertainment company announced that they will be searching for the next WWE superstars. The tryout will span through four days and forty people will have the opportunity to showcase their skills to the trainers and WWE officials that are present.  According to 'Latestly', NXT founder and senior producer Triple H had the following to say about the forthcoming tryouts:

"India has an extremely large and passionate fan-base and remains a top priority for WWE as we continue to localize content globally," said Paul "Triple H" Levesque. "I am confident this latest talent tryout will result in a world-class pool of athletes ready to pursue their dream of becoming the next WWE Superstar from India."
