Second Performer Advances In WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament On WWE Raw

Lyra Valkyria is moving on in the Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

On the December 9 edition of Raw, Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, and Ivy Nile faced off in a three way bout that was a first round match in the Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

In the end, Lyra Valkyria ended up winning the bout to earn herself a spot in the next round of the tournament. The closing sequence of the match featured Valkyria breaking up Vega's pin attempt on Ivy Nile. Then, Valkyria pinned Nile after nailing her with her signature Nightwing manuever.

As a result, Valkyria will now face the winner of a three way match between Kairi Sane, Natalya, and Alba Fyre in the second round of the tournament. It is currently unknown when the match between Natalya, Sane, and Fyre will take place.
