The Owen Hart Foundation tournaments are flying by as we continue to get closer and closer to AEW Double Or Nothing, which will take place from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 29th, 2022. The event will host the finals of both the men's and women's edition of the tournaments.
On the May 13th, 2022 edition of AEW Rampage, the women's edition of the tournament was furthered as Ruby Soho defeated former AEW Women's Champion Riho in a quarterfinal match.
With the win, Soho moves on to the semi-finals and will face the winner of the upcoming Red Velvet and Kris Statlander match. The match was originally supposed to be Hikaru Shida vs. Red Velvet, but Shida was substituted due to an injury. Click here to learn more.
On the other side of the bracket, Toni Storm advanced to the semi-finals this past Wednesday when she defeated Jamie Hayter on Dynamite. The other quarterfinal, which will see Britt Baker face a mystery opponent, is set to happen on the 5/18 edition of Dynamite.
