It'll be one more week before the big show.
NXT U.K. TakeOver: Blackpool is just two weeks away as on January 12th at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool, England the stars of the NXT U.K. brand will have the spotlight shining bright on them as they are set to have their first TakeOver event. The match card is shaping up with matches such as Toni Storm challenging Rhea Ripley for the NXT U.K. Women's Championship, Eddie Dennis and "Bomber" Dave Mastiff clashing in a NO-DQ match on top of more matches.
Also on that TakeOver card will be Pete Dunne defending his coveted WWE United Kingdom Championship against 'Gallus' member Joe Coffey and next week on NXT U.K., the two men will sign a contract to make their TakeOver match official. That contract signing will happen during the 4 PM EST block on the WWE Network on January 2nd and at the 3PM EST block is the lead-up to that contract signing as Pete Dunne teams with Tyler Bate and Trent Seven to take on 'Gallus' (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Wolfgang).
