"The Architect" is looking to exit Saudi Arabia still the holder of the I.C. Title.
Tomorrow at 12 P.M. EST on the WWE Network, Seth Rollins will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship at the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event inside of the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Rollins will be defending his title in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder match against The Miz, Samoa Joe, and Finn Balor. Ahead of his title defense Rollins was interviewed by WWE and spoke on the current vibe, and energy from the fans in Jeddah.
"Incredible really, hot. Its warm here but there’s a lot of energy man. There's a lot of energy, this event is really unprecedented and you can kind of feel that," Rollins stated. "Our crew along with the local people here and all that stuff, it's really been an incredible experience so far", he continued, "The fan-base is just super excited. I think they're as almost nervous and excited and anxious as we are just because it's such an unprecedented event,. We've never done anything like this, definitely never had a pay-per-view broadcast out of the Middle East. We're going to put 10's of thousands of people in that arena, the card is stacked... it's really going to be an incredible experience and the energy has been off the wall."
Since capturing the title at WrestleMania this upcoming title defense will be Rollins' first. Seth stated that although the other three competitors in the contest would love to leave Jeddah as the champion, he will be the man to actually do-so.
"It's really my first Intercontinental Championship defense since I won the title at WrestleMania. So you've got three guys; Samoa Joe, The Miz and Finn Balor, all of who'd love to go back home as Intercontinental Champion but I really plan on defending this title for a long time. It's got a storied history and I'd like to be a huge part of that."
