The forbidden door has often been referenced in wrestling in recent months with AEW, IMPACT, and NJPW talent all appearing on various shows. Tony Khan has proclaimed himself as being "the forbidden door."
WWE has been excluded in the forbidden door talk as, despite Daniel Bryan wanting to wrestle for WWE and other companies, WWE has kept to its already formed partnerships.
Seth Rollins and his jacket have gone through the forbidden door, taking to Twitter to reference how The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) have used a similar "drip" to The Messiah.

The Young Bucks have yet to update their bio to potentially reflect the reference by Rollins. The Young Bucks were successful against the Sydal Brothers on Wednesday's Dynamite.
