Seth Rollins wanted Mondays to become Monday Night Rollins, and he took a major step in doing so on February 19.
The former WWE Champion and technically WrestleMania main eventer kicked off WWE Monday Night Raw this week by entering a gauntlet match preview of this weekends Elimination Chamber first with fellow Shield member Roman Reigns. The two would go a full 20 minutes, with Rollins eventually defeating Reigns with a roll up pin.
Next up would be John Cena, who feuded with Rollins years ago. After eating several Attitude Adjustments, Rollins was able to counter another with a Ripcord Knee and his signature Curb Stomp to put Cena away at over a half hour to win his second straight match.
Elias was next, and during the course of the match, Rollins hit the one hour mark in the ring. Eventually he'd hit an hour and five minutes before falling victim from Elias and being pinned. It was the longest singles performance of any wrestler in WWE Monday Night Raw history
After the elimination, Rollins was given a standing ovation by those in attendance for the show. It would be the longest match of Rollins' career to that point, including Survivor Series or Royal Rumble Matches.
In addition to that, the match would go even longer, passing Waldo Von Erich vs. Bruno Sammartino's 81 minutes to reach the longest match in WWE history at one hour, 47 minutes. Braun Strowman was eventually the victor.
