Seth Rollins Says Brock Lesnar Has Earned The Right To Operate On His Own Schedule

Seth Rollins might be upset that Brock Lesnar is a part-time player, but he recognizes that has earned his position.

Appearing on The Show on Rock 105.3, Rollins discussed the frequent absences of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar.

"Brock Lesnar is our Universal Champion and he hasn't been on our television in some time," said Rollins. "From my perspective, it's slightly insulting to me that he's our champion and the face of our show and he's not at the live events. People who watch the television show, they're not getting the same thing at the live events. It makes it hard for us, as a team, to sell tickets. Every week, I try to be the champion that the show needs since the one we've got isn't around."

Rollins was then asked about stepping into the ring with Lesnar. The two previously met at WWE Battleground 2015, but the match ended in a no contest after the Undertaker interfered. Reports say they will face off against at WrestleMania 35.

Say what you will about him but he's an incredible performer and athlete," said Rollins. "He's a legitimate badass. He could rip all your limbs off your body. Being in the ring with him is definitely a challenge, but he's one of the best. He's very good at what he does...sometimes. He has earned the right to be Brock Lesnar and operate on his own schedule. I like being in the ring with him."

Rollins will defend his Intercontinental Title this Sunday at WWE TLC against Dean Ambrose.
