AEW Dynamite (12/4) Draws Under 600,000 Viewers

From the moment the show started, multiple wrestlers were paying tribute to Latino Heat and throughout the night, several wrestlers would hit Eddie Guerrero's signature offense with one of his oldest friends even getting the victory by way of a frog splash.

Nyla Rose, who is managed by Eddie Guerrero's widow, Vickie, attempted to win her match on the Buy-In via a frog splash. then, during the Tag Team Championship match between FTR and the Lucha Brothers, several Eddie Guerrero moves were done as The Lucha Brothers paid tribute to one of their Heroes and stopped Dax Harwood from completing the 3 Amigos.

CM Punk, who actually had the privilege of wrestling Eddie Guerrero during his final time on the independent circuit, also paid tribute to him. CM Punk explained his decision to pay tribute to Eddie Guerrero noting that he likes to mess with an audience.

"16 years ago today we lost Eddie Guerrero and I just thought, 'Man, I'm wrestling a dude tonight named Eddie, how great is it going to be when I hear them chanting for Eddie?' In my head, I'm just going to be thinking about Eddie Guerrero. So, I get to play with emotions and stuff like that because I feel -- They're chanting for Eddie, I'll go ahead and give them Three Amigos. Is that not what you want? I never expect to get booed or get cheered. I have a pretty good idea and what I think what I'm really excellent at is reading the room."

Chris Jericho is the only man that had the honor of winning a match with one of Eddie Guerrero's signature moves. Jericho pinned Dan Lambert in a Minneapolis Street Fight by using Eddie Guerrero's signature frog Splash and emotionally looking up and pointing to the sky after the match.

Matt Hardy, who was not featured on the card, also paid tribute to Eddie Guerrero on Twitter as did Vickie Guerrero.

Vickie also shared more in-depth thoughts about Eddie Guerrero on Instagram. You can read her full post below:

What is today? Today is a day God has blessed me to breathe, love, and make my day as if it’s my last. Today reminds me of an unplanned day when God called Eddie to His Heavenly gates. Today, taught me to face the world the best way I knew how! Today, is the day that I learned how many people love Eddie and his memorable legacy. An exceptional legacy that I learned how to be the “Queen of Mean” from watching Eddie’s work inside the ring! The countless hours that Eddie would create storylines on paper and rehearse promos in front of a mirror and using me to create “a hold” on me and ask if it was painful!!!!!--. I learned everything from Eddie not only professionally but personally as Eddie’s wife and mother to Shaul and Sherilyn. These valuable lessons that didn’t come written in an manual.
Today, I am emotional that I wake up in the same city, arena, and day that you passed! Tonight, I will walk down the ramp and carry Eddie in my heart. I walk into the ring and look over to the corner and nod at Eddie sitting across the corner of the top rope.

For years….Eddie talked about how he wanted to “make it to the top”. Eddie, you exceeded your dreams and your legacy lives forever and you will never be forgotten. You are loved and missed everyday….--.
