Shane McMahon Among Those Who Helped Put Together The 2020 Men's Royal Rumble Match

The 2020 Royal Rumble saw Drew McIntyre win the overall event after throwing out Roman Reigns, the return of Edge to WWE action, and Brock Lesnar and dominate the first half of the bout.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shane McMahon was among those who put together the Royal Rumble match for the men. Reportedly the match was put together by Shane McMahon, Jamie Noble, IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer, Abyss, and Lance Storm. It is also reported that Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar had some input in their portion of the match and Vince McMahon himself had his creative input felt mostly during the final moments of the match, specifically the one-on-one with Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns

Of the producers mentioned, the only ones with traditional Royal Rumble experience are Lance Storm and Jamie Noble. Shane McMahon was only officially a participant in the 50-man Royal Rumble match at the 2018 Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia.
