Shane-O Mac's next leap is onto an established TV series.
On the most recent edition of SmackDown Live, the current SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and Shane McMahon hosted the first edition of "McMiz TV" with their opponents for this upcoming Sunday's 'Elimination Chamber' pay-per-view, The Usos. Before Miz and Shane brought Jimmy and Jey out to the ring, The Miz revealed that Shane will be appearing on a future episode of NCIS: Los Angeles.
Shane McMahon took to Twitter today to officially announce the news and noted that the episode that he's in will premiere on March 31st and he credited The Miz for spoiling the news about his appearance and thanked the cast and crew of NCIS: L.A. for the opportunity.
Since @mikethemiz spilled the beans, I’m excited to have shot a new episode of @NCISLA which comes out 3/31.— Shane McMahon (@shanemcmahon) February 15, 2019
Many thanks to the cast and crew for making it such a great experience especially @llcoolj and @DanielaRuah!
I hope you all enjoy it.
WWE posted the following message on their website about Shane McMahon's appearance on the CBS network show:
Shane McMahon is taking his next great leap — to one of TV’s most sprawling franchises.
The former SmackDown LIVE Commissioner and current Tag Team Champion revealed on Twitter that his appearance on “NCIS: Los Angeles” — hinted at by his tag team partner The Miz on SmackDown LIVE — will air March 31. Little is known about what role Shane has in store for the CBS drama, currently in its 10th season, but between this and WrestleMania, it’s shaping up to be a very busy week for a very busy man.
Shane McMahon and The Miz are defending their SmackDown Tag Team Championships against The Usos at 'Elimination Chamber' and yesterday, a report made the rounds that Jimmy Uso had an altercation with a police officer and for more on that story, click here.
