Shawn Michaels Feels Jaida Parker Has All Aspects Needed Of WWE Superstar, But Thinks Nattie Helped Her Embrace The Pro Wrestling Side

The rivalry between Nattie and Jaida Parker was delved into.

Since Nattie returned to NXT, she has been engaged in a program with Jaida Parker. The two are 1-1 in singles matches, and the rubber bout is scheduled for the Heatwave Premium Live Event, where they will meet in a Submission match.

NXT overseer Shawn Michaels spoke about the program while on Busted Open. He said Parker has all the aspects needed of a WWE superstar, but Nattie has helped her embrace the pro wrestling side.

“This is one where it’s a storyline that Jaida is kind of going through this full circle story arc, and I have to give Jaida credit for this. This was something she wanted to do. She wanted to learn this aspect… The storytelling aspect of the sports entertainment business, of the WWE, and Nattie was the perfect person to do that… There were a lot of things going on in these promos that were very sort of real, so to speak, and look, you have to do those things with somebody that knows how to carry ‘em, and obviously that’s Nattie Neidhart. She has just been fantastic to work with, and to just get to know her, she’s somebody that wants to give back, and now, I’ll say this again… you kind of forget how good she is in the ring, and then you watch her out there. She’s got Jaida Parker doing stuff that Jaida’s never done before. She’s doing Rings of Saturn and all this wrestling now… Jaida had the WWE superstar look, and had all the aspects of the sports entertainment but, that’s where we add in the pro wrestler. This is where Nattie has really helped her embrace the pro wrestling side of this business and I think Jaida has evolved exponentially in this program and that is obviously due to Nattie and what she’s done for her.”
