Shawn Michaels Praises Randy Orton For How He Sold Sweet Chin Music
Shawn Michaels has delivered Sweet Chin Music to a whose who list of legends over the years from Bret Hart to Hulk Hogan to Steve Austin to The Rock, and everyone in-between.
Perhaps Michaels’ most famous Sweet Chin Music was delivered to Shelton Benjamin, who sprung off the top rope, right into the superkick.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez on Unlikely, Michaels was asked if Shelton took the Sweet Chin Music the best.
“He [Shelton] took it like a champ, but I will say, one of the people that I always thought sold it in a unique way was Randy. Honestly, Randy would take it differently every time. So many people would take a snapback and Randy could almost crumble down in a very unique way. I have to give Randy a lot of credit for bringing a whole different look to sell the Sweet Chin Music on a number of occasions,” he said.
Orton is set to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
