Shawn Spears is heading to NXT Stand & Deliver to face Joe Gacy.
It was announced on the April 2 episode of WWE NXT that Shawn Spears, who made his comeback to NXT on February 27 will face Joe Gacy at NXT Stand & Deliver. Fightful Select's Corey Brennan previously noted that WWE was considering adding the match to the card.
Gacy cost Spears his bout against Dijak on the March 26 broadcast of NXT. Spears exacted revenge by hitting Gacy with a chair before his battle with Oba Femi on the April 2 edition of NXT.
Gacy later informed NXT General Manager Ava that he wanted to fight Spears at NXT Stand & Deliver, and she scheduled the bout for the Countdown.
