On the billing for NXT’s Vengeance Day Premium Live Event on March 7th is Lola Vice versus Kelani Jordan in an NXT Underground match. Vice is 3-0 in the match type.

Ahead of the bout, there was a segment that aired on the 3/3 NXT featuring Kelani Jordan preparing for the Underground match. She met up with former NXT Women’s Champion and MMA fighter Shayna Baszler to train.

At NXT Battleground in 2024, Baszler fell in defeat to Vice in an Underground match. Baszler currently helps behind the scenes at NXT as a producer.

During the segment, Baszler was attempting to get Jordan to understand that her gymnastics skills cannot be the only tool in her bag to get a win over Vice in this specific match type.
