During WrestleMana weekend this year, two good friends Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler's careers in WWE had their first big moments. On October 28th at WWE's first-ever all-women's PPV 'Evolution', Shayna Baszler become a two-time NXT Women's Champion with the help of Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke, and later on in the night the fellow Four-Horsewoman and current RAW Women's Champion Ronda Rousey bested Nikki Bella to retain the gold. This upcoming weekend is Survivor Series weekend and Ronda Rousey will be in action against Charlotte Flair, and with War Games II occurring on Saturday, Shayna Baszler will be defending the NXT Women's Championship against Kairi Sane in a 2-Out-Of-3 Falls match.

The NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler did an interview with 'Sun Sport' and spoke about how she believes Ronda Rousey's her love of professional wrestling began and being happy for Ronda when she sees how much fun the UFC Hall Of Famer is having in the ring.

"I think when she saw how much fun I was having and how in love with it I was, that really sealed the deal for her. We've been friends and we've seen each other through the worst and the best, and we trained with each other every day. I'd always watch pro wrestling in the house when we lived together and they all became fans again because it was on because I always had it on the TV." Shayna said. "I think that Ronda and I had similar paths in MMA. She became a bigger star than I ever was but a similar thing happened where the backlash from the fans happened after you slip up once kind of makes you fall out of love with it. Training was a job after that, fighting was a job after that. I think seeing me cross over to pro wrestling and having fun - I get up in the morning and I'm not a morning person. My alarm goes off and I'm back out and training again. Just seeing that is what turned her around to it." She expressed. "After her WrestleMania match I ran back to Gorilla and met her coming out of the ring and just seeing how happy she was again, it was so good and like a full circle for her."
