Shayna Baszler Talks Intergender Matches, Names Minoru Suzuki As Her Dream Opponent

Shayna Baszler talks intergender wrestling.

Intergender wrestling is often one of the more controversial topics within the world of pro wrestling. While companies like WWE and AEW shy away from pitting men against women in the ring, plenty of independent promotions across the world will often use the dynamic to tell unique stories both in and out of the ring.

In a recent interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Shayna Baszler gave her opinion on the topic and noted that she would love to get the chance to face Minoru Suzuki one day.

"l am a fan of intergender matches if they are done properly. The problem is, they often aren't. As for me. I would love to have a match against any of the guys! Especially any of the technicians, [namely Suzuki as he is my favorite]."

Baszler has given a similar take in the past, noting that she's all for intergender wrestling if women are properly trained for it.

Baszler has had intergender matches in the past with the likes of Lazar Armani, Ryan Nemeth, and Joey Ryan.

Elsewhere in the interview, Baszler talked about the possibility of a crossover between WWE and STARDOM. To learn more about Baszler's comments, click here.
