Sheamus: If You Look Back On A Lot Of Attitude Era Matches, They’re Just Like 6,000 Kicks And Punches

Sheamus looks back on the Attitude Era.

During his recent interview with The Late Run, Sheamus engaged in a conversation with Chad Ochocinco and Raheem Taylor-Parkes about different eras of different sports and how most fans have different viewpoints of each era.

Sheamus used this launchpad to bring up the Attitude Era, saying that the matches were receptive with kicks and punches.

“Everyone talks about the attitude era, the attitude era was like balls to the wall, right? Anything goes. If you go back and look at a lot of those matches, they’re just like 6,000 kicks and 6,000 punches. The crowd was so hot. What made that era so great was the crowds, the crowds were just nuts.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Sheamus noted that he wants US fans to be more creative with their chants. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
