Sheamus Reveals There Was An Idea For Him To Debut On WWE Main Roster Alongside Fit Finlay & Hornswoggle
Sheamus looks back at his career.
There’s a new interview with Sheamus that Peter Rosenberg conducted for Cheap Heat Live. As Sheamus was going through highlight moments and memories from his WWE career, he recalled being in developmental and hearing an idea for his main roster call-up.
Sheamus revealed that the idea was for him to arrive on the main roster alongside Fit Finlay and Hornswoggle.
“I was getting information… kind of down the pipeline. There was something at one stage. I was supposed to go back for Christmas. I think I was there in FCW a year and then all of a sudden, I was told, oh, I’m gonna debut with Finlay and Hornswoggle, who was in an angle with Mark Henry and Tony Atlas at the time. So I was like, ‘Oh sh*t, I better get ready for that’ and then that didn’t happen.”
The 23-year veteran was in action on the 6/30 edition of Monday Night Raw. He clashed with Rusev in a 20-minute bout, and it was Rusev who emerged victorious.
