Skye Blue On CMLL International Grand Prix Debut: I’m Beyond Honored
Skye Blue is excited to compete in the CMLL International Grand Prix Cibernetico.
Skye Blue, along with Julia Hart and Thekla, will represent AEW in the CMLL women’s International Grand Prix. The unique Cibernetico match, which will feature some of Mexico’s top wrestlers against the best from around the world, is scheduled for October 24.
Talking to Fightful Español’s Luis Pulido on a media call, Skye Blue expressed her honor to have this opportunity alongside her fellow Triangle of Madness members. She’s also excited to debut at Arena Mexico and experience a proper Lucha Libre environment.
“Yeah, I’ve never wrestled in Mexico, so this will be the first time. So I’m beyond honored that my first time is in Arena Mexico and doing the Grand Prix, and that I get to do it with my tag team members. I am very honored to be in this position and very excited to go forth and do the best match that I can. I haven’t trained Lucha. I mean, I used to train Lucha a very long time ago, so being able to go down there and properly do Lucha, I’m very excited.“
