The tag team tournament will begin this week on Smackdown.
Over the weekend, Smackdown General Manager Paige announced the next team to challenge the Bludgeon Brothers for the Smackdown Tag Team Championship will be determined in a four team tournament. On Monday she announced the first match of the tournament on Twitter which will involve New Day and Sanity.
Both Sanity and New Day are three-person teams and it has not been revealed which members will be taking part in the match. The two teams recently met in a six-man tables match on the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
On Sunday, Paige announced the teams in the tournament will include Sanity, New Day, the Usos, and the Bar. With Sanity and New Day facing off this week, that leaves the Usos and the Bar to be in the other match but their match has yet to be announced.
