SmackDown Viewership For 10/18 Continues Downward Trend But Viewership Increases In Hour 2

Viewership continues to trend down for the blue brand as WWE eases into its regular roster formations post-draft.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the October 18 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.441 million viewers across its two hours. This is down from the 2.898 million viewers the October 11 episode averaged, which was a major decline from the 3 million who watched the debut episode on Fox.

In the 18-49 demographic, the show averaged approximately 0.75 rating across the two hours. Despite the ratings trending downward overall, viewership did see a slight increase in hour two. Also, SmackDown continues to be the highest-rated program in that demographic during primetime hours among ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and CW.

Hourly Breakdown:

Hour 1: 2.390 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 2.493 million viewers, 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic
