Monday Night RAW has been struggling in the past few weeks in television viewership, but SmackDown Live manage to stay stable in their viewership this week.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the September 13 episode of SmackDown Live drew 2.658 million viewers, up 8% from last week's 2.454 million viewers. While it is higher than last week's number, it is still a far cry from the 2.834 million viewers the August 30 episode drew.
On a positive note, SmackDown Live was #1 in ratings in the 18-49 demographic with a 0.91 rating, which is lower than last week's 0.96 rating in that same demographic. SmackDown was #4 in viewership for September 9, behind The Oprah Winfrey Network's If Loving You Is Wrong, Fox News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor and The Kelly File, all drawing viewership of at least 2.9 million viewers each.
This week's episode featured a Fatal Five-Way match to determine the number #1 contender for Becky Lynch's SmackDown Women's Championship as well as a segment in which it was determined that WWE World Champion AJ Styles will defend his title against John Cena and Dean Ambrose at No Mercy, the next SmackDown-exclusive pay-per-view. No Mercy will be held in Sacramento, California on October 9.
