NXT is currently holding their latest set of television tapings at Full Sail University. During the tapings, a former ROH champion made his debut against Matt Riddle.

Former ROH Television Champion Punishment Martinez made his NXT TV debut at the tapings on Wednesday night. Martinez went one-on-one with Matt Riddle in his debut.

Martinez' contract with ROH ended in September. He dropped the Television Title to Jeff Cobb in his final appearance and was then WWE bound. Martinez was announced as part of the new Performance Center recruits back in October. He made his NXT live event debut earlier this month, losing to Nick Miller in singles competition.
