A title change occurred during the NXT UK tapings on April 21.

Oliver Carter & Ashton Smith won the NXT UK Tag Team Championships during the Thursday tapings at BT Sports Studios. The duo defeated Die Familie (Rohan Raja & Teoman) and Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate).
This marks the first title reign for Carter & Smith. Bate & Seven had been the NXT UK Tag Team Champions since the December 9, 2021 episode of the program.
Later on during the tapings, Seven announced his retirement, but it ended up being a swerve as he turned on Bate.
It is unknown when the match and angle will air on NXT UK programming.
