Stardom will have a presence at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14.
It was announced on Tuesday that there will be a Stardom bout at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 14. Competitors for the bout were not announced though it was announced the match will take place on Jan. 4, which is night one of Wrestle Kingdom. The bout will be the first match on the show and is listed as a "dark match.". The announcement was made following Stardom Year-End Climax 2019 on Tuesday.
In November it was announced Stardom would run an event on Jan. 4 from Ryogoku KFC Hall. The event is scheduled to take place hours before NJPW holds night one of Wrestle Kingdom from the Tokyo Dome.
Bushiroad, the parent company of NJPW, purchased Stardom in October. There was no mention of crossover events at the press conference. This will mark the first time women have competed at Wrestle Kingdom.
