Stephanie Vaquer Reveals She Underwent Surgery During Time Away

Stephanie Vaquer was out of action for four months following WrestleMania 42 before making her return in August.
Speaking to Rueda en el Ring, Vaquer revealed she underwent surgery during her time away.
“It was very difficult because coming out of surgery and having to wait without training, that was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Not being active in my training, but I when I returned to the ring, and I stepped back into a ring felt like coming back to life for me. It was a needed break for the sake of my health, but I am back better than ever and I’m going to keep going just as always disciplined in my training and showing what I’m made of,” she said.
Vaquer did not reveal the extent of her injury or surgery. She was reportedly dealing with a shoulder injury going into WrestleMania.
Vaquer won the WWE Women’s World Title at a live event in Chile.
