Stephanie Vaquer says her world title win came after a ‘big sacrifice’.

At WWE Wrestlepalooza on September 20th, Stephanie Vaquer would take on IYO Sky at the event with the vacant WWE Women’s World Championship on the line. Vaquer would win the match after hitting a corkscrew moonsault from the top rope, winning her first championship on the WWE main roster.

While speaking CHV Noticias in a new interview, Vaquer was asked how she has been feeling since capturing the WWE Women’s World Championship.

“Emotional. I still feel like I’m in this dream that I still haven’t woken up. I’m enjoying it a lot, it has been a very big sacrifice many years ago. I’ve dreamed of this every day in recent years, and the happy truth. And what better, as you say, that the first Latin American is Chilean and WWE world champion.”

On Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, Vaquer would tease future matchups with the likes of Nikki Bella, Rhea Ripley and Lyra Valkyria. For the full results from Monday’s edition of WWE RAW, you can find them here.
