Steven Borden Opens Up About Concussion He Suffered At AEW All Out

Steven Borden reflects on the injury.

After being sidelined since the 2026 All Out pay-per-view, Steven Borden is back in the mix at All Elite Wrestling. He is going to be competing in the men’s Blood & Guts match on the 11/4 AEW Dynamite.

Borden and AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin are competing in the aforementioned bout, and they appeared on First Coast News to promote the show. Borden opened up about the concussion he suffered at All Out.

Borden: “It feels great to be back. So I got concussed, and I was knocked out for a little bit.”

Allin: “A little bit!? You were snoring for six minutes straight. I was there in the ring. We had to stop the match live on pay-per-view. Stop the match and he’s out there snoring and I was like, ‘Steven!?’ It wasn’t a little bit.”

Borden: “It’s weird though. With injuries, you’re sidelined. Normally, you can feel it. You tore something in your knee or whatever, and so you know as much as you wanna get back in the action, you can’t. But for me, I felt fine. So it’s just this weird thing of like, I wanted to be back out there but I couldn’t, and now that I’m back, it feels pretty dang good.”

The Blood & Guts matches for Dynamite are listed as follows:

  • Men’s Blood & Guts: Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Darby Allin, Steven Borden, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson vs. The Don Callis Family (Kazuchika Okada, Kyle Fletcher, Wardlow, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis & Jake Doyle)
  • Women’s Blood & Guts: Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Thekla, Megan Bayne & Lena Kross vs. Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Kris Statlander, Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter
